At Greyland Games, we believe that internships are more than just temporary work experiences—they’re opportunities for growth, innovation, and meaningful collaboration. Over the years, we’ve welcomed talented interns who have contributed significantly to our vocational language training games, job simulation games meant to simulate real-life working scenarios for foreigners in a new language. Their fresh perspectives and dedication have helped shape the future of our projects, making learning through gaming more engaging and effective.
From programming to game art and marketing, our interns have played a crucial role in the development of our games. Their contributions have enhanced our goal to bolster cultural integration efforts, ensuring that our industry-specific language training games are not only fun but also effective in breaking language barriers and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
On the technical side, our programming interns have brought expertise and creativity to our game development process. Sardorbek Mukhudinov, Joel Visakorpi, Matias Jääskö, Tapio Ylihonkaluoma, Christian Peräkivi, Yusuf Enes Doğanay, and Aki Kurvinen have all contributed to building the robust and immersive gameplay mechanics that make our vocational language training games a success. Their skills have helped refine our coding structures, optimize game performance, and implement new features that enhance user experience.
In the realm of graphic design and game art, our interns have been instrumental in shaping the visual identity of our games. Iulia Alexandru, who started as an intern and is now a Game Artist, and Bianca Jalonen, who advanced to become our Art Director and Game Art Lead, exemplify the immense potential that internships unlock. Their artistic vision has played a vital role in crafting the engaging and visually appealing worlds within our foreign language games.
We are also excited to welcome three new graphic design interns from Tredu, who will help us amp up our marketing and further refine our brand aesthetics. Their fresh perspectives and creative energy will contribute to making our games even more captivating and immersive.
Additionally, Nicole Tarimo has been part of our internship program, contributing to our marketing efforts.
Internships are mutually beneficial: students gain hands-on experience in their chosen fields, while we, as a gaming studio, gain innovative ideas and fresh perspectives that push our projects forward. The enthusiasm and creativity that interns bring often result in outstanding work, and we take great pride in mentoring and supporting them as they take their first steps into the working world.
As Greyland Games continues to grow, we remain committed to nurturing emerging talent and providing meaningful internship opportunities. Whether in programming, game art, or marketing, our interns play a vital role in helping us create high-quality, impactful job simulation games that support language learning for immigrants and bridge cultural gaps.
Stay tuned for exciting new developments as our interns continue to make their mark on the world of vocational language training and industry-specific language training games!
