My biggest challenge after moving to Finland was obviously the weather, where I come from we have sunny Christmases, but mostly the language barrier, some people speak English, but preferred not to, which was extremely difficult for basic day 2 day needs or wants.

I’ve studied the Finnish course, which was great I can now speak my slightly-broken Finnish to my cashier or bartender however, but they don’t specifically target on vocabulary based on my profession which made this difficult to look for a job.

I joined Greyland Games because it offers a unique opportunity to learn the specific vocabulary and language skills needed for your profession. While you can study basic phrases like "Minä olen Sarah" in school, this game lets you dive deeper into the terminology relevant to your field. It’s a great way to learn the "lingo" while already having a solid understanding of your profession.
